Community Outreach

We are joining churches all across Jacksonville for a city-wide community outreach on September 30th. Read below to learn more about Kernan's service projects and how you can participate leading up to, and on the 30th!

SCHOOL LANDSCAPING/CLEAN-UP

Kernan Middle School & Sabal Palm Elementary
For Ages 10+

We will be helping both Kernan Middle School and Sabal Palm Elementary with various landscaping and clean-up projects around their property. Trimming trees and bushes, pulling weeds, picking up trash, etc...

HOMELESS CARE-BAGS

For All Ages

We will be packing care-bags with useful items for the homeless and needy in our area. We will have the care-bags available for our church members to take with them and hand out when they have the opportunity.

We are also collecting items for the care-bags between now and September 30th. Please consider size when purchasing (travel size tissues, for example).

  • Band-Aids
  • Snacks (Granola Bars, Peanut Butter Crackers)

Trunk or Treat

October 27   6-9pm

Bring the whole family for a fun night of Games, Candy, Bounce Houses, Food Trucks, Hay Rides and more!

BCM Gathering

Jax Baptist Collegiate Ministries aims to share the Gospel with college students across the city of Jacksonville. We do this through our large weekly gatherings on the campus of the University of North Florida, weekly community groups, discipleship and evangelism.

BCM meets at Kernan every Tuesday at 6pm in the Family Life Center.
